This Privacy Policy describes how the Money Management - Budget mobile application ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our App. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting it.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information from you. The App does not require you to register, create an account, or provide any personal details such as name, email address, or phone number to use its features.
1.1 Information You Enter
Any financial data you enter into the App — including transactions, categories, budgets, debts, savings goals, subscriptions, and investment records — is stored locally on your device using the device's local storage (SQLite database and local preferences). This data:
- Is never transmitted to us or any third party.
- Is not accessible by us.
- Remains under your full control.
- Is removed when you delete the App.
1.2 Device Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions:
- Notifications: Used to send you local reminders (e.g., budget alerts, subscription due dates). Notifications are generated on your device and are not sent through any external server.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
To be transparent, we want to explicitly state that we do not:
- Collect personal information (name, email, phone number, address, etc.).
- Collect or transmit your financial data.
- Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics).
- Use advertising networks (e.g., AdMob).
- Track your behavior or usage.
- Use cookies or similar tracking technologies.
- Share or sell any data to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party components, which may load assets (such as fonts) over the internet on first use:
- Google Fonts: May be used to load fonts on first launch. Google may receive standard request information (such as IP address) as part of the font request. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
No personal or financial data from the App is sent to these services.
4. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since the App does not collect any personal information, no data from any user — including children — is collected.
5. Data Security
Because all your data stays on your device, the security of your information depends on the security of your device. We recommend using a device passcode, biometric authentication, and keeping your device's operating system up to date.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete your data at any time by:
- Clearing data within the App's settings (if available), or
- Uninstalling the App, which will remove all locally stored data.
7. Your Rights
7.1 GDPR (European Economic Area users)
Since we do not collect or process personal data, most GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, etc.) do not apply to us. You retain full control of your data on your device. If you have questions, contact us at the email below.
7.2 CCPA / CPRA (California residents)
We do not collect, sell, or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information is collected (none).
- Request deletion of personal information (not applicable, as none is collected).
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (not applicable).
- Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
7.3 CalOPPA
In compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act, we do not track users across third-party websites or services. We do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals because we do not perform tracking.
8. International Users
The App can be used worldwide. Since no data is transmitted off your device, there is no international data transfer.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App and/or on the App Store listing, with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
